We already have a Contributors Guide: For Code of Conduct we could build upon: (which anyway needs to changed as per discussions early in the year) |
@hmenager, @matuskalas : along these lines, I'd like to now invite all users of the EDAM to join the (now refactored and better) EDAM Steering Group (http://edamontologydocs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/governance.html). This is more or less the last thing re governance to settle. Could you please suggest a list of projects and appropriate people (name+email) to contact, that you know about? Please use mail if we don't want to publish email addresses here. cc @veitveit FHI |
@hmenager and @matuskalas - I'd very much like to settle the EDAM Governance, by inviting representatives of groups using EDAM to join the Steering Group, so I can do the invites and report on / reinvigorate this in Aug/Sep. Could you please ping me (by email) some suggestions? Thanks! |
This issue was moved to edamontology/edamontologyDocs#14 |
This applies also to this repo, not only to docs. Partially fixed, but more to do later, given the capacity |
Hi @matuskalas - what's left to do here? It would be good to finalise a list of def. actions on the repo especially. |
Hi @joncison, according to the community standards a pull request template must be added. I can help with that. |
Dear @AnkitaxPriya, thank you so much for your offer, and sorry for not replying immediately. We are very happy that you want to contribute, and adding a pull request template is an excellent idea, highly appreciated! 🙌🏽 I created a specific issue for this purpose, #615. Please comment there and I'll assign it to you. |
Add missing community standards.
See e.g. https://github.com/edamontology/edamontology/community etc. and general GitHub sites about decreasing the community friction
