I’m not sure what the correct terminology is, but here are some examples of what I meant by my request:

  • tap search once to go to the search page from another page (this is the normal behavior). Tap it again to focus on the search bar and bring up keyboard (feature request). You can see this in action in Apple’s App Store by clicking Search located at the bottom menu
  • tap feed to go the current feed page from another tab such as search (this is the normal behavior). Tap it again to go the favorites page or whatever is set as the default launch feed (feature request). This would then act as a way back button. Again, you can use the App Store as reference by clicking Apps on the bottom menu > click any app > click any suggested app and repeat > click Apps and you will be brought back to the apps home page

Speaking of the default launch feed, if it’s set to anything other than favorites, we have to click the top left “exit” to access favorites again. I understand this acts as a favorites button, but it would be nice to have an easier way to access it in this context, such as swiping to the right (if you do decide to implement this method, please allow this to cover swipe anywhere as well) or clicking feed again while on the home feed page (basically bringing it down for easier one hand access on larger phones)
