• Collection stewards no longer have to gather, copy and paste metadata into the new collection request form.
• Repository administrators likewise do not copy and paste metadata from the Google form into the Curate collection form.

This work is being done as part of the scheduled ArchivesSpace project in 2023.

The ArchivesSpace import should only occur during the new collection setup process. Future edits/refreshes to the collection metadata can cause every work in the collection to have to be reindexed, so this needs to continue on a manual basis for now to prevent large scale reindexing occurring without being scheduled.
