Ability to change out Featured Collections on the homepage

• At the time we launched Emory Digital Collections in 2020, we had to hard-code 3 featured collections on the homepage. We want the ability for repository administrators to feature new and different collections as we have added much more content in the last 3 years.

A clear and concise description of what you want to happen.

• Repository administrators can use a self-service interface to select collections to feature.
• More than 3 collections can be selected as features, and the homepage display will randomly display them when the page is loaded.
• The existing collection banner images already uploaded through Curate can be re-used for the Featured Collection thumbnail.

• Putting in development tickets for software engineering to add/change the 3 featured collections
• Manually preparing thumbnail images for the 3 featured collections
• Status quo: no changes to the homepage features since 2020

• Collection managers can have their material featured upon request
• Visitors to Emory Digital Collections will become aware of new and different content
