in varcon-2020.12.07/varcon.txt:

line 6299 is missing a "/"

A: dekagram's A. B C: decagrams / Bv: decagrammes

line 23804 is missing a "|"

_: ratline / _-: ratlin -- o: usually plural

line 32353 has an extra space (not really an error but it's the only inconsistency)

_ 1: woolly's / _V 2: wooly's / _V 3: woolie's |

in varcon-2020.12.07/README:

I spotted possible typos in the following lines:

67, 91, 100, 112, 122, 132, 133, 175, 194, 208, 237

I wouldn't normally bother fussing about typos but since I was filing a bug report anyway...

Thanks for creating such great language resources, I have long been a fan of your work.

Your welcome, and thanks.

Out of curiosity how do you use VarCon?

Out of curiosity how do you use VarCon?

I am gathering and merging a variety of lexical resources in the hope of creating a comprehensive lexical database. I parse and convert each source into a number of formats such as XML, triples (individual facts), and relational databases. As the provenance of every fact is preserved it would be possible to compare them and make corrections between sources. I haven't uploaded anything yet but I hope to be able to do that soon.

@infurl your response prompted me to finally announce the SQL version of SCOWL (see #306) I have been working on (on and off) for many years now. If you are interested please email me privately.

Yes I wondered if there was a connection. I'm composing a supportive email to you right now. I'll attach an example of what I've done, I'm looking forward to comparing notes with you.
