I have been having problems with proxy providers, as many of them give me residential proxies, but my Honeygain and Earnapp accounts are closed because they are supposedly not residential. How can I check if the proxy providers are not scamming me? Is it better to use http or socks5? What do you advise?

hi, from personal experience http is better than socks5, as for how to see if the ip are residential or not, you can use ip2location.com and from there you can understand if it is datacentrr or residential. if you need you can contact me on telegram @raffaeled98

Each application uses different services to check if the IP is residential or not.
These services may not be in sync with the actual data. Even if your IP is residential, it may be considered non-residential if the service they use is not updated.
It is better to look into the docker logs of container to check if you IP is considered residential or not.
You will have to enable logs and look into the logs of the respective application.
You may use the following docker command to look into docker logs.

sudo docker container logs <CONTAINER_NAME>

I already check the logs of each container, and on the websites of each application (ex: earnapp, honeygain,...) and it appears as residential and from the USA. I have purchased proxies from proxyfish for example and it seems that the proxies are later detected as fraud.

May be earnapp is using a different service to check IP quality. You can try with only once device and see if it works fine without issues.

I have reviewed the logs and noted some similar errors; however, there are no warning messages observed in the tun2socks logs which you have mentioned earlier. It appears there may be an issue with your proxy configuration.

Additionally, I would like to clarify that I am using the amd64 architecture rather than the arm64 architecture. Below, I have included the errors encountered while using the SOCKS5 proxy. Please note that when connected directly via Raspberry Pi, the logs are encrypted.

If you have a residential IP for a direct connection, I recommend comparing it with the current setup. A related discussion on log comparisons can be found in issue #147.

I also noticed that the version of your EarnApp SDK is outdated. For your reference, I have included the current version of the EarnApp SDK for amd64 below. I cannot confirm whether these two versions function identically across different architectures.

Earnapp did not specify any limit. Using more number of devices was causing account issues to users. So a limit of 10 devices was updated in the table.
