Hi,

I am interested in using this program in my i3 setup but I'm not exactly strong in Python so I was hoping there'd be links to some example i3 configs that use i3pystatus in the README or a link called "Examples" on the home docs page https://i3pystatus.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ that directed users to a list of example i3 configs that use i3pystatus.

Thanks for your time,
Brenton

I've seen http://i3pystatus.readthedocs.io/en/latest/configuration.html but I still would argue that a link to an example should be at least mentioned on the front page of the docs or in the README. It took me a fair bit of searching to find that http://i3pystatus.readthedocs.io/en/latest/configuration.html had an example.

An idea along the same lines would be a bit of a repository of working configs. I'd be happy to share what I'm using (sans any personal data like API keys), but there isn't really any official way of doing so.

I'm a bit late to the conversation here :) Just started using i3pystatus and would love to see some examples, specifically with icons. I guess I could with fontawesome to get started..
To make it easy for people to share there could just be a git repo: i3pystatus-examples. Upload a config file, a screenshot, and display them in a markdown :)
