The tar files that are downloadable from the jca project page have a very unusual (and probably unintended) directory name:

 $ tar tzf jca-2.4.10.tar.gz | head
jca-jca-2.4.10/
jca-jca-2.4.10/.github/
jca-jca-2.4.10/.github/workflows/
jca-jca-2.4.10/.github/workflows/build.yml
jca-jca-2.4.10/.gitignore
jca-jca-2.4.10/LICENSE.txt
