@carlosparadis Our colleague, Severine, at HNEI installed the weather station on the Frog UHM project and she wants to get the data to study the weather affects on PV production. I have extracted data for her, see "view-severine" but she'd like to grab it regularly. Do we want to give her ssh access? Or is there another way to provide the data easily? Can that view be backed up on Google drive as a csv?

Severine Busquet [email protected] (she's French)

Thanks! Regards,
Eileen

@eileenpeppard That really depends on Severine's background and what she plans to use to access the data regularly (e.g. navcat/tableau/terminal). Do you have any idea, or should I follow-up an e-mail with her Cc'in you?

I would advise against setting a cron job and script for something so specific if we can avoid it. The ones we already have sometimes drive us nuts :)

@carlosparadis Sev is a PhD engineer and is pretty technical and has a research assistant who I believe has programming experience, so I think giving her ssh access would be okay. it would be great if you could contact her and cc me. Thanks.

For the record,

We agreed today after ERDL-arch meeting that we would try the API-WebCTRL route before worrying about ssh. An e-mail was sent on May 8, 2018 following up.
