crontab -e as root will expose the script being used for server backup, and

crontab -e as postgres will expose the script being used to backup the database.

This is the package that Justin Delp compiled from source to do backup for us, since it is scriptable:

Pending to close the issue:

  • Add a wiki section explaining what line on the cron tab summons the backup script(s?) and how often.

  • Where are the scripts located

  • Where does the script saves the backup

  • How to use the back to restore, or if we should call him at that point.

  • Also double check where lies the database script backup!
