Ah, so you had mqtt configuration in place, just not in the above dumped evcc.yaml! I see now... I am pretty new to evcc, but would something like this work? So the ("string") states like homeassistant/sensor/{VIN}_charging_system_status/state Idle are nicely converted to A, B, C or F... what evcc expects/wants.. |

I am currently busy with rewriting volvo2mqtt as the developer of that allready said he does not want to do anything with EVCC and the solution has some issues that dont work well for EVCC as its a HA addon that we are now hijacking. I am aiming to fix/improve
will share repo once i am further down the coding , currently almost done with the auth part |

But that`s allready what they have so not sure what your ask is, (its a Oauth claim based API - you can build what you want ). Only thing they lack is documentation about oath flows they support as they only seem to have a user initiated flow documented. Think the volvo2mqtt took the process by hijacking the app and analyzing the traffic as the flow he is using is not documented as far as i can see. |

@triple-it How can i contact you, Could you join Maybe you can validate the first raw code MVP to see if it works for others as well while i create a proper solution of it. Currently the Auth part , minimal scope , minimal pull is in the raw MVP code and seems to work , now i will focus on creating a application that we can run as a looping task and can read EVCC API aswell. |

But it still has the same issues and major security issues volvo2mqtt as its not build with EVCC in mind, it looks like you are replacing 1 broker for a other broker. although i love the approach of a HTTP rest which i was also looking at but either MQTT or Direct broker don`t think matters much. many of us have a MQTT already for other services. this is the current list of issues with Volvo2MQTT

This will be able to run on windows or linux without any dependancies other than Powershell even the webservice is native hosted inside PS |
