Why don't you change the "es-admin" route to "@es-admin", I think it's more intuitive since those routes that begin with "@" have been being used for admin or development purposes in the play-framework.

I would like also to be able to not deploy it in production or to setup the security
Myself I'm using the deadbolt plugin and I override the Administration index homepage to add security to be sure that everybody won't be able to list all data in index while they don't have access to them in the app.
This is not an issue, is only a suggestion.
