redesign homepage UI

Clearly, there's room for improvement in homepage design. We can revamp the landing page with some another minimalist UI that helps stakeholders (volunteers, donators, activists, etc) better navigate the website from the landing page.

We can add better backdrop images, better call to action buttons, and links to other pages.

A message about what is Human Rights and why they (users) should fight and protect the same will also be helpful.

Please comment with your thoughts on what and how we can improve. Also, feel free to raise PR :)

Sorry for replying in segments. The image transition can be instead converted to sliding which would look more appealing,aesthetic as well. I think a mentioned about 4 issues and ill try my best to work on the maxim number of them and update you about it. Reply asap:).

1. sidebar can be changed into navabar i.e. at thr top
2. the copyright portion can have a bg of black and i think i ll arrange
   the a tags( that are in the end) into column and the space that is
   remaining (right side) can have a small para about the ngo

2. Yes, we can definitely improve the footer sitemap (please raise a separate PR for this)
   • do you want to update the footer sitemap for the homepage only or for all pages?

I ll do it for the homepage itself
also for the the slides what as such i have a plan for the implentation that is what if we work on the z-index for that (implentation is still a bit hazzy)

like the let the text be however it is and then for the imges a smooth transition and less z-index of the imgs than the text

I would like to change the

• font-style used in the page
• the hovering over the button of some more attractive color
• It would look great if we have a navbar horizontal
• If we have a toggle for dark mode and light mode for the page it would look great.
• The theme of the page can be of light orange and white.

1. currently, we are using Nunito - Open Sans font pair. What do you suggest?
2. We can experiment with button styling, as long as we have it consistent across pages
3. Current navbar is highly inspired by twitter. You can experiment with that, provided it's responsive on different screen resolutions.
4. @Omkar31001 suggested dark mode as well. So rather than either dark/light mode, we can have a toggle.
5. Can experiment with themes.

@pratyaksh05 create a single PR with meaningful commits for now; Since this thread is growing, I would suggest you create a separate issue here with proposed changes so that we can track better :)
