An EndpointFactory could be very useful for translation between 2 components that can not communicate directly. This would be useful for ResourceManager implementations, since it would eliminate the configuration for it.

What the limitation would be, I'm not sure. This would probably only work if there are no ports with multiple cardinality. And then the framework could create one for every possible connection.
