Just an issue to collect problems and todos for pyhton 3.12 support (release planned 2023-10-02).

Tested with GH Action and python 3.12. Throws following error:

Problem with shapely 
Run pip install -r requirements.txt

Shapely is now compatible and works. Test added by #594.
