No need for the leading sh in the commnd sh sudo add-apt-repository ppa:fontforge/fontforge; sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install fontforge; in the page http://fontforge.github.io/en-US/downloads/gnulinux/

Also, apt-get can be simplified to apt
