Notepad++ is one of the most ubiquitous editors text editors on Windows that already comes with built-in Fortran syntax highlighting (both free and fixed form, although some newer syntax is missing). The appearance of the editor is not the prettiest, but overall the tools available are good. I think it makes a great editor for Fortran newcomers.
There are few ways we can integrate fpm with NotePad++:
So far I don't have anything to demonstrate, but wanted to see if there is any interest among other fpm users. Hopefully I can provide some examples in the following weeks/months.
