Setting streams to low

Hi

I have my streams set to high because it recording to a Synology NAS using RSTP and the camera is 2K

I want to install this add-on for my HA install but reading the setup instructions its saying set to LOW streaming, is there any work around as I'll lose picture quality on my recordings to the NAS
