Resetting Eufy Siren T8970

I have a Eufy Siren T8970 set to trigger by a Eufy automation when the alarm is triggered.
I have two problems.

1. "Trigger Alarm for a duration" in HA is not limiting the duration of the alarm sounding to that specified - the alarm sounds for the same time, regardless of the duration set
2. When I reset the alarm it is immediately silenced, but the Siren continues to sound. There is an entity associated with the Siren, "button.siren_reset_alarm", initially disabled in the integration. I have tried enabling the entity and using the button to reset the Siren, but an error is returned.
   Can anyone suggest what I'm doing wrong? I'd like to be able to limit the duration of the alarm and Siren sounding.
