Paramak OpenMC Integration #355
-
Hi, I am currently trying to use the latest version of paramak and DAGMC to create a relatively simple tokamak to be used in OpenMC neutronics simulations. I am, however, struggling to figure out how to export to DAGMC from the latest version of paramak. Will I need to use the cad_to_dagmc package to do this or is this functionality built in? Thanks! |

Thanks for the question and for making use of the code cad_to_dagmc is the package I use for converting a cadquery assembly or step file to a DAGMC h5m file yes. I also want to mention there are other options that you might want to consider. As far as I know these are all the options for converting CAD to DAGMC models. cad_to_dagmc The other thing I wanted to add is that I've had most success with 180 degree models and a single plane used as a reflecting surface on the boundary. |
