Github actions for testing

Hey there, how would you run flutter_convenient_test via GitHub actions?

This is how i run my stuff so far

Headless mode https://github.com/fzyzcjy/flutter_convenient_test#ci--headless-mode.

Roughly speaking:

1. start your flutter app in a simulator (since convenient_test is for e2e tests - you need a simualator or real device)
2. start the convenient_test_manager_dart binary, such that it can schedule things as well as record videos etc
3. wait until convenient_test_manager_dart ends.

You may need a few lines of shell script.

Look forward to sharing the worked github actions after you configure it such that other people have a working sample :)

Personally I cannot share mine, because I have internal tooling (python-based) and not github actions.

Hey there, I just wanted to let you know that I have no result, yet I can share. The thing is that macOS costs countless GitHub Actions Mins.

• What i did so far is:
• • A Flow that downloads your macos binary -> Upload as artifact
• • Starting macos again, running a emulator

I was not able to run the emulator in some sort of detached mode. The script just continues after the emulator timed out.

Hi, yes macos is expensive if you are using a private repo.

As for that error, maybe at least paste some log :) Otherwise I cannot even guess anything
