I see you actively maintain this plugin. I'm not exactly familiar with it having not used it personally, but I'd like to draw your attention to the issue I raised on plasticboy/vim-markdown#484 and the various vim-pandoc-syntax issues cross linked there. If robust syntax support for CommonMark is something you're interested in participating in, utilizing in some way, or generally have any feedback on the input would be appreciated.

I support the need for a single strict CommonMark syntax.
