Hey, @garthtarr! If possible (and if you agree), I suggest to implement the following improvements:

  1. Turn the grid visibility off
  2. Show the grid on the plots themselves only (not between plots)
  3. Set minimum and maximum values for the X and Y axes
  4. Ability to show a minor grid (I don't know, maybe it the plot then becomes too cluttered?)

Hi @nuno-agostinho those changes are beyond my skill level with D3. I'm more than happy to accept pull requests if you can work out how to implement the suggested improvements!
