Dear @yantosca

I hope you enjoyed your weekend.

I'm not quite clear about this format of time (frequency and duration). How can I set it to output the average gas concentration for a day in the output file? Moreover, the time resolution shown in the figure below is ten minutes; does this setting correspond to frequency in HISTORY.rc?

Additionally, I need to run the simulation starting from the year 2008. I should be concerned about whether the Restarts file exists, but I'm not sure how to check if there is a Restarts file available for any month in 2008.

Thank you!

Best regards,
Baihua Chen

Thanks for writing @ChenBHXMU. Please see our Archive output with the GEOS-Chem History diagnostics, which has an overview of the HISTORY.rc file.

To archive daily (time-averaged) output you would want to set:

SpeciesConc.frequency: 00000001 000000
SpeciesConc.duration: 00000001 000000

Also we do not have restart files for 2008. But you can use the restart file that ships with the GEOS-Chem run directory and then change the time cycle flag from EYFO to CYS as described here.

Dear @yantosca

Thank you for your help. However, I encountered an error while downloading the 2008 data. The information is as follows:
