request for latest git, python3 support installation on RHEL5 #1

Thanks for the great tool,

I tried this on one of the v93k workstation running RHEL. But then the SSL store was too told to bypass security checks
Both of the below methods did not work
a. wget --no-check-certificate <git_source_link>
b. wget --secure-protocol=TLSv1 <git_source_link>

/etc/redhat-release --> Red Hat Enterprise Linux Client release 5.11 (Tikanga)
Version: Linux 2.6.18-433.el5

Any recommendations/advise Michael ?
