Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

CherryTree supports syntax highlighting for various languages, including markdown and its variants. However, there's no way to "resolve" the markdown to rich text within the editor. Currently, a node can either be plaintext, syntax highlighted, or rich text. Only rich text nodes support formatting such as bold text within the editor.

Describe the solution you'd like

  1. Markdown Rendering for Export: Provide an option to use on-computer markdown rendering when exporting syntax-highlighted markdown nodes to PDF, ensuring that the output maintains the intended formatting.

  2. Markdown to Rich Text Conversion: Implement a feature to write in markdown within a rich text node and use a hotkey to "resolve" the markdown to rich text. This approach avoids a WYSIWYG style while allowing users to easily convert their markdown to formatted text when needed.

Suggestion: Pair Zettlr with CherryTree. Zettlr can export rtf (et al).
