Due to the current lack of support in Go for daemonization, you will have to use another Unix tool to run Gomatch as a background process.

There are many tools available for Unix based operating systems. To list a few:

  • screen
  • nohup

Example

using nohup:

nohup gomatch > foo.out 2> foo.err < input.log &
