Was this ever resolved I have the same problem, tried reaching out to Hanson Robotics but got no reply on any platform. |
The old Einsteins are obsolete. But we plan to produce more, updated
Einsteins soon, with improvements. Stay tuned

I have a professor Einstein with old firmware (the suggested companion
mobile app states firmware is outdated, must contact support for new

getting a TCP connection refused error in my terminal.
Do you know if this works on the outdated firmware? My robot is rendered
unusable until I find a way past the dated firmware issue or gain momentum
with SDK exploration.
Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

@DrDavidHanson Thanks for the insight, Dr. Hanson. @iHaagcom If you figure out a workaround in the meantime, please it share here and I'll do the same. Thanks. |
Will do, thanks Justin!

I have a professor Einstein with old firmware (the suggested companion mobile app states firmware is outdated, must contact support for new hardware). Following the readme, once I got to
robot.connect()
, I was getting aTCP connection refused
error in my terminal.Do you know if this works on the outdated firmware? My robot is rendered unusable until I find a way past the dated firmware issue or gain momentum with SDK exploration.
Any help will be appreciated, thank you.
