A ref option for more customisation

I am facing this issue i don't know y but i have used this package and created a multi select drop down which renders a button in the last of items as apply filters when any option is selected. I have tried a lot but on the very first select the drop down stuck and do not close even after clicking outside. it would be better to give an option for ref to manipulate and customise this more.

as you can see the image above i have selected the text outside but it still is open.
