I just finished the manual swapping of levels (see: #787) and this was an interesting exploration of what is needed to make change to levels going forward. Based on experiments with kids in classes and teacher observations, we will need to inevitably make some manual changes and, in a hypothetical future, in which we have finished all other things, we might give teachers the power to also switch levels in addition to all other customization (Idea #775).
The plus side of this manual work was that swapping the grammar and the transpiler was hardly any work! The incremental grammar system really works well and I see how that could be automated with relative ease, and I also do not worry about making small changes later on.
The downside however is of course all the content! Swapping the levels in 1 language is ok, but in all languages is really tough, both structurally (doing the exact same thing everywhere) and of course content wise. I had to Google Translate number in Hindi cause I could not even find the 5's to change into 6's!!
This lead me to two things that might be worth doing:
