USRP B210 LibreSDR_fx3 in state 5

Hello @platini2.
Hoe you're doing great. Please i order the USRP B210mini libreSDR, but i am facing some issues to make the radio up and running.

1. Anytime I start my VM, and I connect the device, sometimes it says no USB device attached but it selects another device which is not connected on the USB port.
   So, I just wanted to know if all the time, I need to keep selecting the device that I need to connect and multiple times it keeps saying can't attach USB device. I just unplug and plug again, try running the command " uhd_usrp_probe" and it connects to the device. So do i need to run the command every time i start up the VM so it recognizes the device?

2. Secondly, there is this error which keeps coming up "fx3 is in state 5" and I attach the screenshot

Hi, i never used LiberSDR B210 however with the ettus you need to force two devices to the VM as first there is a USB id for the B200 and once the firmware is downloaded to the device is recognized again as B210 with different USB ID, by default they are connected to the host. When using VMware you need to ensure that both ids are connected directly to the VM.

Hi @platini2 . Thanks for the quick reply. I think what i have is also Ettus because when I connect connect the Rffrontend, it shows Ettus Research B200. Then when I disconnect and reconnect it shows Ettus research b210

@herlesupreeth please do you have any insight on this type of error message?

I am not sure how you have setup the VM but if you have created VM using Oracle VirtualBox, you have the option to permanently assign the USB device to a VM (also dont forget to enable USB 3.0 in settings before running the VM). This way you dont have to select the USB device each time

Hi @herlesupreeth. yes, i created the VM using oracle virtual box and i set the USB port to 3.0

when I start the eNB I have the following error.

I don't know why it says no device available wereas a device is connected as shown below

When I do uhd_find_devices it shows the device connected as below

I would suggest raising this issue in srsRAN_4G repo or contact seller of LibreSDR as this issue is not due to this using of this repo
