I confirm that this is an issue rather than a question.
Bug report
"Audio Capture" doesnt seem to be able to pickup any info.
The cards do get discovered.
The HifiBerry DIGI is being used to send music from the locally installed shairport-sync.
When i place the hifiberry digi in Device discovered shairport-sync cant use the device anymore. So no audio is getting sent through that device.
I enabled loopback modprobe snd-aloop and played some .wav-files to it.
In the config i changed the grabber to either one of the loopback devices, but LEDs stay dark.
Steps to reproduce
Receive or play sound on an arecord -l listed device aplay -D default:CARD=sndrpihifiberry -t wav PinkPanther60.wav
Try to use the audio capture feature on it
Send sound to a loopback device aplay -D default:CARD=Loopback -t wav PinkPanther60.wav
Try to use the audio capture feature on it
What is expected?
I tried to copy the sound of the hifiberry digi to a loopback device to be able to visualize the music from that.
What is actually happening?
As soon as i try to use any device to grab audio the playback immediately stops there.
