Doesn't mute mic

As of a few days ago, when I activate MicSwitch by activating the hotkey or clicking the icon in the notification area, my mic stays active, as confirmed by numerous mic testing software and people who confirm they can still hear me on conference calls. The red X still appears over the icon though.

I've tried restarting MicSwitch and my computer, and uninstalling/reinstalling MicSwitch, but I always get the same behaviour.

MicSwitch version: 1.0.253
Windows 11 build: 22621.1105

Any suggestions?
