My wife sometimes asks me to take out the trash when the notification is visible. However the trash is already taken out.

Describe the solution you'd like

Can you add an action on tap or hold that hides the notification?

Describe alternatives you've considered

I have tried hiding with a Boolean but all notification are hidden. So if I have a notification for 1 day (done) my notification for in 3 days also hides.

This is the same feature that I would like to integrate into my HASS dashboard. I recently posted on the community requesting to see if anyone else has already achieved this.

It would be a fantastic upgrade to an already awesome card. The ability to "dismiss" the icon because you have "taken out the bin" would be a life changer for me. Suffering short term memory issues as a result of my trauma, the ability to quick view and toggle things like bins, bills and even medications would be an upgrade to my life!

I love that your personal issue is that the wife keeps trying to remind you @emiece ... for me, I need a toggle so I don't keep going out and trying to re-do the task due to poor memory retention.

I'm also looking for an indication wethere or not the trash has been taken out!
For me having a default 'NOT DONE' in red by default that switches to DONE in green on a tap would be perfect.

I suppose that requires a custom binary_sensor to show in the card. Meaning i would be able to call it and use it for chore list updates as well? If what i'm saying is even possible...

I have no idea how much work this so thank you verry much in advance for even considering the first part of this!
