Hi folks 👋🏻
For past two of months in my spare time I've been working on this idea of mine of creating a runtime for "lambda" like jobs. My inital idea was to create a runtime that would serve for executing "lambdas" on Bacalhau. You can find repository here. It's still in a prototype phase so some things are hard coded and lack structure so keep that in mind. Besides that I'm also working on a "invoker" node that should act as a gateway for user to invoke lambdas (my idea is that this could live as standalone node or be merged into Filecoin Saturn).
While working on this I've realised that this could be generelised better and have been thinking of working on a formal specification that should make it decoupled from Bacalhau and leave it to user to chose their execution layer (currently only Bacalhau). Luckly when I've shared my idea on #bacalhau channel and Boris Mann has invited me to introduce myself here.
I hope I can somehow contribute to this WG and to building spec for this kind of computation workloads.
