Reloading of page in development mode

Whenever a file is changed in development mode, the webpage reloads. This happens when a new git link is submitted in the settings page. However, this only happens in development mode, not in the final build product.

After a git repo link was submitted, when the page reloads before the success message is shown, the link has to be re-submitted again because the loading process was not fully completed.
