How to contribute

Please read these guidelines before contributing to Lib.Web.Mvc.

Question or Issue

Questions about how to use Lib.Web.Mvc should be asked on Stack Overflow. Please tag your question with lib.web.mvc tag which has been created specially for this purpose and it is being monitored daily by the library author.

GitHub issues are only for reporting bugs and feature requests, not questions or help.

Issues

Any bug found in the source code or a mistake in the documentation should be submited as an issue to the repository. You are also encouraged to submit a Pull Request with a fix.

When submitting an issue please include the following information:

  • A description of the issue.
  • The exception message and stacktrace if an error was thrown.
  • If possible, please include code that reproduces the issue (Gist can be used to share large code samples).

The more information you include about the issue, the more likely it is to be fixed.

Feature requests

You can request a new feature by submitting an issue to the repository. Before requesting a feature consider the following:

  • Stability is important. Features that require large breaking changes are unlikely to be accepted.

Submitting a Pull Request

When submitting a pull request to the repository make sure to do the following:

  • Check that new and updated code follows Lib.Web.Mvc existing code formatting and naming standards.
  • Make sure that no existing functionality has been broken.

Read help for more details about creating pull requests.
