What the hell is taking so long?

• This is my first resource pack. I don't know what I'm doing.
• First time I've tackled a 3D project
• First time using Substance Painter
• Minecraft with RTX is relatively new. Aside from NVIDIA's texture guide and advice in Discord, I haven't been able to find guidance. I'm learning through example and experimentation.
• I have a full-time job and a family

Why so many changes?

• I don't know what I'm doing
• I'm taking feedback
• I've acquired new Substance materials and knowledge over time, which make me want to improve textures (again and again)

Why is JG RTX free

• I don't know what I'm doing
• I'm a supporter of many Minecraft Patreon creators, but let's be honest. There are more important causes which would also like a $5 monthly donation.
• I ♥ open-source

Why does [some texture] look weird?

• I'm still working on it. I think using filler textures will look and feel better than letting the default textures show.
• Filler textures may give you an idea of what the final texture may look like. (Sometimes.)

Do these jeans make my butt look fat?

• Yes

When will it hit beta?

• When most textures are satisfactory
• Once textures have been created for 99.9% of blocks. No plans for creating many mob, item, entity, or UI textures.

Will JG RTX support 1.17

• Yes... eventually

When will it be finished?

• ...eventually?

Will this be released in the Marketplace once it's finished?

• Sure, if they'll let me No! Some of the assets I've used in texture sources are not licensed for commercial use.

How can I help?

• I'd really love a decent Blender scene or .FBX mesh to help me paint a lot of Minecraft textures in one Substance Painter file. For several months, I used a 1m × 1m, 6-faced cube mesh to make E V E R Y texture because that's all that was mentioned in the PBR texture guide.
