I guess the jpos snapshot version isn't in a great state.

I solved this error by going to IntelliJ IDEA Settings → Build, Execution, Deployment → Gradle → and set "Gradle JVM" to SDK 17 (which I have installed)
I guess the jpos snapshot version isn't in a great state.
