Databases in Kubernetes

For a long time hosting databases in kubernetes was a bad choice and frowned upon. This has changed and it might be time to reevaluate the situation.
I'd like to talk about

• the (historical) problems of databases hosted in kubernetes
• how databases can be hosted in kubernetes nowadays, example: postgresql
• scaling and common operations

and show a live demo.
