Under my OS (Windows 10) multiple instances of Kanri can be opened. This can easily happen unintentionally, specially if you are absent-minded like me. For example I have Kanri added as a program to autostart with my computer, but if in a given moment I remember to add something to one of my boards I might just click on my Kanri shortcut and open another instance without realizing and add the stuff there.
I am not sure how much of a problem this is, but I can imagine things going wrong if you edit something in one of the instances and then you edit something else in the other instance. Or you edit in once, close it, then later on edit the one that is still open (that probably did not load the latest changes).
Describe the solution you'd like
Perhaps make sure that there is a single Kanri process running. However I am not 100% sure what I describe here is a real problem, I do have other apps that prevent from opening multiple instances... however somethings it is convenient to have more than one window to have different views in different screens or in a split screen.

This is high-up on my list and only held back a bit by an ongoing migration of the underlying application framework. Thank you for reminding me about it, as soon as the migration is done this is the first thing I will fix.
