Might be worth a look:

1. Graphite: Scalable Realtime Graphing (times series)
2. Whisper: RRD-like fixed-size database used by Graphite

It would be nice to have such (real-time) time series graphs for Kieker. We might be able to feed a Graphite server by a Kieker plugin. Time Series data structures are included in the OPAD branch.

Graphite was mentioned by Lennart Koopmann (XING) in his Kieker Days talk on Graylog2
