@reebalazs we need a final release of kitconcept.solr. We are already using kitconcept.solr in production in client projects. Can you please make a 1.0.0 release? Or is there anything that would prevent us from doing so.

Hi @tisto there are 2 reasons that might delay the final release.

  1. There is a CI problem that makes the cypress tests fail in github CI, I haven't yet found the reason but I'll return to it. Once cleared, a release can be made.

  2. The frontend (volto-solr) and backend (kitconcept.solr) packages are designed to work together, however in the new projects we realized a new use case to use only the backend (kitconcept.solr) with a custom frontend. I need to do some refactoring and documentation to make this usage easier. I believe that it would be useful to also include this into the final release. This refactoring is also something that I'll work on soon.

@reebalazs we could make a 1.0.0 release and 2.0.0 release after the refactoring. The 1.0.0 release is nothing but an indicator that the product is production ready. Background here is that we write operations manuals for clients that use kitconcept.solr and I don't want to list an alpha version there. This looks like we are using alpha software, which isn't the case.

ok! We'll do this. I still have to fix the CI and then release.
