I checked, that if i create a new project i can delete that. |

You can leave them on gitlab though, I think. |

if the project is shared by someone else (i.e. you are added as a member
through Gitlab) then you can't delete it :)

But i should be able to delete it from my list, ( leave it ) ( without a
workaround which is leaving it on gitlab)
There is a delete button, it is ineffective, and it gives no feedback. I
think this should be addressed.
And people should not be able to add other people to projects without
confirmation.
