Hello 👋

First of all, thanks for this lib which helped quite a bit so far 🎉

Do you @kuu have any plans to support the new versions described here : https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-pantos-hls-rfc8216bis-08 ?
Latest version appears to be 10 and I would need it to parse the video-range tag.

Regards

Thanks @Osirisxxl for the link. Looks interesting. Will check to see the diffs.

BTW, what do you mean by "the video-range tag"? Do you need "Playlist Delta Updates" described at 6.2.5.1?

Hey, thanks for the quick answer 😊

I probably misused the tag name since it is called an attribute.
VIDEO-RANGE is a new attribute on EXT-X-STREAM-INF listed in https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-pantos-hls-rfc8216bis-08#section-4.4.6.2 .

So far I don't think I would be interested in the Playlist Delta updates.
We are mostly using this as a descriptor for which files are used for one given video (different video qualities, audios and subtitles, but no ongoing playlist or such features).

Looking forward to your feelings about implementing these new versions!

Thanks for clarifying that.
After checking the diffs, I realized there're a lot to do...
So, let me take incremental steps.
I've already implemented the the new attributes on EXT-X-STREAM-INF including VIDEO-RANGE (#93) and published it to npm as [email protected]
Please try and let me know if you find any bugs.

I'll test this by the end of this week 👍

Thanks a lot!
