It seems I can drag & drop non fastq file ...

Yes you can drag and drop any type of file:

but is necessary for support all extension
fastqt didn't crash when you drag and drop no sequence file and try to open the analysis window

Maybe we need add pop up windows and remove file for list when isn't a supported sequence file.
