Steps to reproduce:

Start the software => The application starts checking for/installing requirements

Expected behaviour:

Upload button is disabled AND a spinner is visible indicating a process is responsible for the fact it's disabled

Actual behaviour:

The upload button is disabled, but the spinner is not visible, leaving users to wonder why
