Permission doesnt work (paper 1.20.4)

I added the permission interactivebooks.command, interactivebooks.command.open. interactivebooks.command.* ( and i tried with the id) but the player still cant open the book

Are you trying to open the book with the commands defined in the book's configuration? For that the permission is interactivebooks.open.<book-id>

i already have interactivebook.open.id i even put in interactivebook.open.* but still not working idk whats causing it

I can't reproduce.
I de-opped me and removed every permission, I set only the permission interactivebooks.open.example_book using the LuckPerms plugin, I executed the command /example_book and the built-in example book opened successfully.
