SSL Client certificate verification not working

Here is my configuration:

http {
        port => 8443
        ssl => true
        ssl_certificate_authorities => ["/ssl/__example_com.ca-bundle"]
        ssl_certificate => "/ssl/__example_com.crt"
        ssl_key => "/ssl/example_com.key"
        ssl_verify_mode => "force_peer"
}
}
output {
        stdout {}
}

This Certificate is a wildcard and it works on other sites with Nginx and RabbitMQ.

Why isn't it working?!
