Stuck on "Searching for Non-Steam Apps.." #2
Comments
ethan021021 made a modification that fixed a similar issue. |
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, This is still an issue, It worked once and showed a list of all the non steam apps, but the next time you bring up the menu it just crashes. As mentioned I have more than 100 non steam apps so think may be causing it to crash. |
It's possible, but I'm not sure it's worth it to fix it. |
That's too bad, valve's implementation is still borked to date. https://steamcommunity.com/app/1675200/discussions/1/3362523432280116007/ |
Plz fix this error. Valve's implementation has alot bugs with Non-Steam apps. |
Same on mine. |

+1 just so you know, your plugin is still the best because in contrast to Valve's solution, it allows to set custom resolutions, e.g. widescreen etc. |
Unfortunately plugin does not work because it cannot get past this step. ethan021021 fork didn't fix it either. Hope there's a fix soon! |
Plugin just freezes and displays the above. Is there a limit to how many non steam apps this can manage? I have 100+ and think this may be causing the plugin to crash. Have tried a fresh install of the plugin loader and get the same result
